Good Morning STA Families and Community!

We are pleased to offer you our final student Stinger Voice this year.
This is a new initiative that students have taken on and I couldn't be more proud
of their efforts in getting a traditional newspaper out to our school community!!
Thank you Mr. Robertson for leading this initiative.

As we draw this year to a close, I would like to take a moment to thank our entire staff for their commitment and dedication to the students of this school. Through academics, sports and co-curriculars, this amazing staff have worked tirelessly this year and every year to bring a fulfilling and faith-filled experience and opportunity to our students.
We do have a few staff members who are leaving us this year.
Thank you to:
Mrs. Groh (EA)
Ms. Medeiros (EA)
Mrs. Delbergue
Ms. Ziegler
Mr. Feher
Mr. Nitti
Ms. Raimondo

We are also bidding farewell to our Vice-Principal, Mrs. Verardi, as she will heading over to Holy Trinity High School in Bradford. We thank her for her tireless work this year. We thank all of those leaving for the wonderful contributions they have made to our school community.

You will notice a segment in the newsletter that I am also leaving St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School after 7 amazing years as your Principal! I will be seconded to the Catholic Principal's Council Ontario for as I have been elected President.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my years at St. Thomas Aquinas and feel very blessed to have been a part of this school community. This school, it's students, staff and families are a true gift and we are so fortunate to move forward with such pride and dedication to excellence.

I thank you all for your support over the years. We have gone through many ups and downs and in the end, we have always respected each other and the spirit of this school. I will cherish my years at St. Thomas Aquinas and thank you for the opportunity to have served.

Many blessings to you all as you continue in your own stories, as individuals, as school community, and as part of the larger story in this world. May God keep you safe and guide you.

Have a wonderful summer.

Annalisa Varano
Principal
